Job description:
The College of Nursing, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, invites applications for a faculty position in the Clinical Nurse Specialist Program. This academic position requires teaching, research and/or scholarly activities, and offers opportunity for clinical practice. Primary teaching responsibilities will take place at the OUHSC Oklahoma City or Tulsa campus, but travel within the state will be required for student clinical site visits. Applicants must have a master’s degree or higher in nursing, with a doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. All applicants must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma and be nationally certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. A minimum of two years teaching experience is required.

The College of Nursing is one of seven health-related colleges located at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. The campus is the state’s major educational resource for health professionals in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, public health and allied health. The Graduate College is the center of advanced study, research, and creative activity in the health sciences. There are excellent opportunities for clinical practice and research with university and clinical partners.
